Transfer Files

There are three ways to send your files to us.

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) is the preferred method to send digital files from your compter to The Blueprint Shoppe. FTP is the language that computers use to transfer files over the internet directly, without size limitations or intervention from your internet service provider.

You can connect to our FTP site using one of the many FTP products available on the web such as FTP Explorer or WS_FTP for PC or Fetch for Mac.

To obtain your private account on our FTP server, please call us at 773-545-0308. This system will protect the security of your work.

Please notify use by phone when sending files through our FTP site so that we may confirm reception.

Océ’s ReproDesk is an automated remote printing solution, which enables you to connect with Blueprint Shoppe electronically to send and receive your print jobs. A built-in electronic job ticket assures accuracy of your print orders and account tracking provides printing costs for reimbursement from your clients.

If FTP or Repro Desk is not an option, please e-mail your files to at blueline@ameritech.net. This is a quick and easy method of sending files.

The files must be unders 2 MB after compression (use StuffIt or WinZip) to archive files into one compressed folder. This will help to ensure that we get all of your files intact and it will also reduce your uploading time.

Please call after transmitting your files to confirm reception of files and instruction.
